 This was my first attemt at drawing a character from Samurai X and I think
that it came out quite well. I drew it in pencil first, and it didnt look
complete at all because the effect of the whole uniform being a shadow was
not captured. So, I coloured in the uniform using a black pen that gave the
shadow effect. I copied this picture out of the #43 manga comic book to a
much larger scale to enlarge the features. I really liked this image of
Saitou Hajime.
